Why did you choose the name Paradise Lost? Paradise Lost is an epic poem by the 17th-century English poet John Milton first published in 1667. It is the story of the battle between Good and Evil in Heaven and on Earth, of Humankind and Angels both Risen and Fallen. The Gothic artwork of Gustave Dore , accompanied Paradise Lost as well as Dante's Inferno and other works which included beautiful woodcuts of Angels and Demons. The Eternal conflict of Good and Evil, which both have been expressed in tattoo images, is the reason we chose Paradise Lost and it's Gothic Imagery. |
